Newearth delivered a significant upgrade to the Melbourne-Lancefield Road for Department of Transport (DTP, formerly VicRoads) as part of their Safe System Road Infrastructure Program. The $12M project involved the construction of a major roundabout at the intersection of Melbourne-Lancefield Road and Gisborne Kilmore Road, the construction of widening and overtaking lanes and the installation of centreline and edge wire rope safety barriers. The project was delivered safely to significant positive community feedback as a result of the completion being early, within budget and with minimal traffic disruptions as a result of meticulous planning and staging of the works.
